Grindr Blog Pitch Submission

Thank you for your interest in writing for the Grindr blog! Please fill out the form below with your pitch details and relevant information. We’ll review submissions on a rolling basis and get back to you if there’s a good fit. While we do read every submission, due to the volume of submissions, we are not able to respond to every pitch.

Submission Information: We’re looking for fresh, personal stories that showcase how Grindr plays a role in today’s culture—whether it’s about sex, dating, love, or the broader social scene. While we appreciate the many perspectives shaping our world, our focus remains on illuminating Grindr’s impact in personal, communal, and cultural contexts. We want to see how Grindr fosters connection, sparks conversation, and influences modern dating experiences—so bring us your best angles on how our platform intersects with everyday life.

Note: Discussing Grindr features in your blog is a huge plus! (e.g., How I Roamed to the Best Dick Appointment of My Life).

Priority Topics for January/February (We are prioritizing these now!)

  1. Black writers for Black History Month (Any angle of your choosing—even if the angle critiques the commodification of the month itself)
  2. Rihanna's Anti Anniversary is coming up. We want a listicle pitch (Things in Culture We Got Before A New Rihanna Album)
  3. Valentine's Day (We're looking for one writer to discuss why Valentine's Day sucks and one to discuss why it's great. We will be featuring two sides in one blog).
  4. We’re looking for a take on the reality of hooking up first and asking questions (like someone’s name) later. This piece should poke at heteronormative expectations—where dinner and a movie supposedly come before anything else—and explore how spontaneity can shape our ideas of intimacy, connection, and even identity.
