This scholarship form must be used to request financial assistance for Sacramento 4-H Resident Camp. This scholarship request is available for Sacramento 4-H members only. To attend camp, you must enroll in 4-H and will become a member. If you are attending 4-H Camp and are enrolled in Solano, Yolo or another 4-H County, please work through that county directly for assistance.
We understand that the cost of camp can be a financial burden and this assistance is specifically for families that could not afford to pay the full amount. Similar to our 4-H enrollment fee waiver assistance, we ask that this be used only for a financial hardship. Sacramento 4-H Resident Camp budget, financial scholarships will be granted as follows:
½ of the early registration fees ($200.00)*
*This does not include a waiver for 4-H enrollment fee. If you need assistance with the $80 4-H enrollment fee, please complete this survey.
Only members who are enrolled and "Active" in ZSuite 4-H enrollment system and have paid the 2023-24 enrollment fee would be considered for the scholarship.
Additionally, if you participate in a 4-H Club, many budget to support their club members' participation in 4-H conferences and camp. Inquiries for camp scholarship support should also be addressed to the 4-H club community leader and club president.
Funds will be allotted on a first come first serve basis. This is a need based scholarship request. We are NOT asking for proof of need (monthly household income at or below 185% of Federal Poverty guidelines) and you don't have to meet the guideline to apply. We would like to ask that only those in financial need for this support apply.
Application deadline for 4-H Camp Scholarship is ongoing or until all funds have been awarded.
