Easing into the Darkness with Flynne & ridhi

Event Description: Join Flynne & ridhi as we collectively embrace the seasonal shift towards the darker cooler months. We’ll sip tea and eat soup together and reflect on our experiences during this time of the year, while sharing information about plants and rituals that may support us through fall and winter. Participants will also be invited to make and take home a plant wand with herbs from the farm, including mugwort, sweet annie, rosemary, and more! We’ll share some context and practices for working with plants in this way.

The farm can have uneven terrain and may pose access challenges for some folks. Please let us know any accessibility needs you may have so we can do our best to accommodate you.

We still require farmers, volunteers and visitors at Unity Farm to wear masks in enclosed spaces like the barn, shed and porta-potty. You are welcome to remove your mask if in the field. We will be sure to check in with folks as we gather to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable in the space. Please initial to indicate understanding and agreement.

Unity Farm at the Oregon Food Bank is located at 7910 NE 33rd Drive. Google maps will provide an easy driving route right to the farm. Trimet line 70 will take you to 33rd Drive, and line 75 will take you to 29th and Columbia, with a 10 minute walk to the farm to follow. Please let us know if transportation is an issue and we will do our best to find a way to get you here.
