The Spring 2016 semester will run from Monday, February 1st through Sunday, May 1st. During the Spring, our classes meet once a week for 2 hours each. Please be mindful of this schedule when you submit your availability below.
The purpose of this form is to determine which classes are the "best fit" for each of our partner organizations. After we receive your responses, we will choose a class or multiple classes for your organization to host and we may ask if you could act as a class host. As class host, your duties would include preparing the classroom space for our teachers and students (arranging furniture, preparing the projector, etc.) and cleaning up afterwards, unlocking the building for students (if it locks after hours) and escorting them through the building, and notifying the GLN if your building will be closed for any reason. As compensation for their efforts, class hosts will get to take the class for free.
Please note that this is not a registration form simply for taking a class, and filling this out does not secure you a spot; we would just like to know class host interest in order to best accommodate and serve you. Staff members interested in taking a class, but not hosting, can register with Priority Registration from January 18-22, 2016.
We will follow up to propose class assignments shortly after you submit the form. Please choose your availability carefully. We want to make sure that staff from each of our partners will be able to attend the classes they request and that we can secure at least one staff member as a class host for each class.
