No Knock - No Charge? The Amir Locke Story Documentary Screening

Join us on Saturday, November 11 from 6:00-9:00pm at Coffman Memorial Union Theater for a documentary screening that tells the story of the death of Amir Locke who was sleeping when Minneapolis and St. Paul SWAT officers executed a No Knock Warrant on February 2, 2022. In addition to showing how a Minneapolis Police Officer killed Amir, the documentary shows his family’s efforts to obtain justice for their son.

After screening the documentary, there will be a question and answer session with Amir’s Aunt and Uncle, Linda Kay and Andrew Tyler, the executive producers of the film and Amir’s parents, Karen Wells and Andre Locke, Sr.

Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Coffman Memorial Union (300 Washington Ave SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455):

Doors open at 5:30 pm
Welcoming remarks at 6:00 pm
Musical Performance (TBD) at 6:10 pm
Documentary will start at 6:30 pm
Question & answer session at 8:30 pm
