The Writers Lab Canada Intensive - Optional Script Prep Application
The Writers Lab Canada Intensive - Presented by The Firecracker Department & The Female Eye Festival

Give your script its best chance for acceptance to the TWL Canada Intensive by having it reviewed Liesl Lafferty, Head of the Firecracker Writing Department, at a special price.

To help generate a script that is viable, Liesl will read your piece, prepare notes and give feedback over Zoom. After the meeting, she will send your script with notes, and then follow up on your progress as requested.

There are 8 slots available for Script Prep Sessions between Mon Jun 03 and Thu Jul 18, 2024 .

In compliance with TWL Canada Intensive submission requirements, your scripts must be either a
polished feature film - 80-120 pages, or a polished pilot - 22-44 pages (half-hour) or 45-75 pages (hour-long).

TWL Canada Intensive submissions begin Jul 18, 2024. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Please feel free to check out other opportunities with the Firecracker Writing Department. We have ten-week Scriptwriting Workshops and Story Editing Services for mid-career and experienced writers, and Free Logline Consultations and a new series of one-day workshops for early to mid-career writers.

Please contact firecrackerwritingdepartment@gmail.com with any questions.
