The Rochester Jamaican Organization, Inc. Community Leadership and Service Award recognizes an individual whose leadership and service have made a significant impact in the Rochester Jamaican community. The nominee’s credentials must reflect the mission of the organization which is as follows:
The Rochester Jamaican Organization, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Corporation (NOT-FOR-PROFIT) that was formed in 2006 to: “be an association that will provide to Jamaicans and friends of Jamaica a network that will allow access to resources that will positively impact social conditions of Jamaicans in Jamaica and in Rochester."
