West Orange High School (NJ) Marching Mountaineers Registration 2017
Dear Students and Parents,

The West Orange High School Marching Mountaineers are one of the most active and decorated groups on the campus of WOHS. We want you to be a part of the 2017 season! The band performs at varsity football games, regional competitions, as well as local civic functions. As a part of the band, you will build relationships that will last a lifetime and you’ll start your first day of high school with over 100 friends.

Students can be part of the Marching Mountaineers in one of four sections: color guard, drum line, pit percussion, and winds (woodwinds and brass). All of the sections will begin rehearsing in May or June.

The 2017 Band Camp is Sunday, August 13 through Friday, August 18. Band Camp is absolutely mandatory for all members! The participation fee per student is $280.00. This fee will cover all expenses for the week, a marching band show t-shirt, and will also assist the Music Boosters in supplying food for competition days throughout the season. This will also cover each family’s membership dues in the West Orange High School Music Boosters. We will return to WOHS to do our annual Preview Performance at approximately 5:30pm on August 18.

After you click submit, remit the $280.00 Band Camp fee online via PayPal. If you prefer to write a check instead, please print the voucher and make the check payable to the WOHS Music Boosters and mail it directly to:

In addition to the participation fee, each member must sell a minimum of four tickets to the annual Music Boosters Car Wash in August. Students are expected to attend the car wash following band camp.

On the Music Boosters website, www.wohsmusic.org, you will find important links with information about the Music Boosters, Band Camp, and the upcoming season.

Attendance at all rehearsals and performances is 100% mandatory, the calendar is located here.
Please check the calendar often to stay informed.

All online entries are due by Friday, May 26. It is important for the staff to have accurate numbers of members for each section so please observe the deadline. Please note that there will be absolutely no refunds after July 1.

If you would like to use funds from your child's Music Boosters fundraising account towards Band Camp, please contact StudentAccounts@wohsmusic.org for information on the available amount.
