Decolonizing Research CFP February 12, 2021
For this conference, we welcome students, recent alumni, and faculty to submit proposals to address the question: How do scholars, from a diversity of backgrounds, in increasingly challenging times, appropriately adopt Alternative Research Methodologies to their research from within Western academic institutions?
Proposals, projects and performances can take the form of a single or co-presentation or a virtual arts performance and should be 15 – 20’ in length. Proposals and projects should address your own prior or current research, with a focus on your engagement with or application of Alternative Research Methodologies. For this conference, Alternative Research Methodologies is broadly defined and can include methodologies from a broad spectrum of decolonial, anti-racists and feminist schools of thought from across the globe. Participants should submit a 300-word abstract alongside a 50-word bio. The deadline to submit proposals will be February 12, 2021. The conference will be held in April 16, 2021.
