The Herb Society of Central Indiana CULINARY SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Instructions:
The Herb Society of Central Indiana welcomes your interest in our scholarship program. To qualify, you must meet the following requirements:


  1. Be a culinary student and currently enrolled in a Central Indiana program in Culinary Arts. If you are selected as a scholarship winner, the scholarship will be applied to the culinary term you'll enroll in immediately following notification of your winning.
  2. Fill out this application form and submit it for consideration by November 1st
  3. Obtain a Letter of Recommendation from a current or recent culinary instructor, culinary mentor, and/or hospitality industry employer supporting your scholarship application. Either mail this letter or have it emailed to mabmfw@sbcglobal.net with the Subject line "HSCI SCHOLARSHIP [your last name]".
  4. Have an official school Transcript of your recent academic record, showing class course enrollment and grade point average, emailed to mabmfw@sbcglobal.net with the Subject line "HSCI SCHOLARSHIP TRANSCRIPT - [your last name]".
  5. Again, all of the above information needs to be submitted by November 1st

In addition, the following applies:
1.  The HSCI $500.00 scholarship money will be sent directly to the financial aid office of your culinary school for application to your account; the scholarship will be applied to the culinary term you'll enroll in immediately following notice of your winning.
2.  As our scholarship winner, you'll be invited as our guest, to the HSCI Spring Symposium we host each April in Noblesville, Indiana.  This will be the April following your winning for official recognition and congratulations .
