Register here for the Biliteracy Seal test, known as the Avant STAMP 4S! One of our WAPS faculty members will contact all registered students in early March 2026 with all the testing details.
Here are the test dates for Spring 2026:
Initial Test Day: Saturday, March 28, from 8:15-12:00.
Make-up Day, if needed: April 4, Saturday, from 8:15-12:00.
You’ll showcase your reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
Each domain takes 45 -50 mins to complete.
WAPS will provide transportation for anyone who needs it. If you need transportation, please contact the WSHS Principal, Mr. Nate Warneke, at nathan.warneke@winona.k12.mn.us before Spring Break (March 6, 2026).
Who is Eligible to take the test? To be eligible to take the test, students must be in 10th, 11th or 12th grade and meet one of the following:
- Use a language other than or in addition to English at home or in their community
- Be currently enrolled in German or Spanish level 4 or above, or in AP Spanish
- Be in Grade 12 with some level of world language experience in addition to English
How many times can students take the test? Students may take the test once a year from grade 10 through grade 12. WAPS encourages students to take it all three years! Students in the Spanish Dual Language Immersion program take the assessment in class in Grade 8. Postgraduate credits can only be earned when the test is taken in grade 10 or later.
