# Doctoral Consortium (DC)This event gives doctoral candidates the opportunity to present and discuss their research with a panel of experts. The discussion includes feedback on the evolution and progress of the students, in order to help them identify a road-map towards refining their thesis.
# Students Meet Experts (SME)This event consists of a panel discussion with experts from academia and industry. Participants are invited to submit questions beforehand, and a selection of the submitted questions are answered by the panel.
# Round-Table and One-on-One MentoringStudents and early-career researchers get an opportunity to engage in group (round-table) and one-to-one discussions with professionals from academia, industry, and start-ups in a friendly, welcoming environment.
# Speech Pitch PodcastThroughout the episodes, we interview different guests, mostly from the speech community, in an informal setting. We want to get to know their work, their stories and their ideas for the future. You can checkout the episodes that we already released, in
Spotify,
Anchor,
YouTube and
apple podcasts.
# Social Media and DesignWe plan to keep our social media active to engage more with the community, and for that we need help to create visual contents (posters, flyers, etc.), and constantly monitor (and share relevant posts on) our socials. Check our
Twitter and
LinkedIn.
# Website Management
All details related to ISCA-SAC is accessible through our
website. We need support to keep it updated (no knowledge of web development is required as the backend is very easy to modify). A new ISCA-SAC website will be launched as part of the
new ISCA website. The migration to the new website will be one of the major tasks.
