Fall Play Expectations *

•We understand that conflicts may occur (your child has listed the potential conflicts on their audition form). It is our expectation that these are minimal and that the play is a priority for your child. Rehearsals run from 2:45-4:30 Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays depending on parts until mid-November, (all cast members should be available 9/12-10/4) and until at least 5:00 starting Nov. 28 for EVERYONE. The show runs Thursday Dec. 15, Friday Dec. 16, and Saturday Dec. 17. No absences will be excused starting October 24 (all rehearsal information will be posted on the calendar on the website). • All cast members must audition on 9/6 or 9/8. • All cast members must submit payment for their $50 activities fee in order to audition (made out to SOUTH VIEW MIDDLE SCHOOL-please write DRAMA in memo box) which includes the t-shirt fee ($25 for Surge Students). Please contact the directors if you are in need of assistance for the activities fee. • There will be no refund of the activity fee once the roles have been announced. •Actors should wear closed toe shoes (no flip flops or sandals) •They will need to prepare a scene from the show-scenes can be printed from the website or can get paper copies from directors • They will also participate in improvisation activities on audition days •We are looking for characterization, stage presence, tone/volume of voice and how they interact with the others in their audition group. •Thank you for your support!
