The Integrated Studies (IS) Program at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine is a postsecondary non-credit certificate Program for Students with Intellectual Disability The IS program is designed for those who have completed their high school experience (with a certificate or diploma) and now wish to pursue extended learning opportunities through higher education.

The Integrated Studies Program works with students to progressively develop skills each semester related to academic interest, employment, independent residential living, communication, safety, healthy living, and technology with the ultimate goal of increased independence, meaningful employment and self-actualization.
