ECSA pre-workshop micro-credential questionnaire
This workshop will further discuss the 'badge' model of credential presented during the 10 June EDU WG meeting to establish the processes for ECSA micro-credentials. 

We encourage participation from both education providers (VET/HEI) and industry to gain insights from both perspectives on which processes are important for issuing credentials. This will help ensure the credentials are meaningful for students pursuing further education or entering the workforce, and trustworthy for employers when recruiting or upskilling employees.

How much weight would you place on a skill that is certified by a Silver ECSA badge *

The Silver Badge is issued automatically by completing the course on the ECSA platform. For the purpose of this questionnaire, the silver badge can be considered as a “certificate of attendance”
  • provider defined rules - usually final assessment test/quiz/exam AND feedback provision
  • Process is fully online - may be entirely automated (i.e., exam is multiple choice and automatically corrected) OR may include open ended questions which are manually verified by the trainer

  • ECSA will pilot mainly with universities and their classes and exams during semester (VSB-TUO, BME, TU Graz, etc.)
