Packet Pushers 2017 SD-WAN Survey
SD-WAN combines multiple connections (MPLS, broadband, LTE, etc.) into a single logical circuit to connect remote and branch offices to headquarters and cloud applications. SD-WAN capabilities include the ability to direct traffic over specific links based on application type and performance requirements, and to move traffic among links based on real-time performance metrics.
