From the first feminist movements of the 20th century to today, a lot of time has passed. Even if women all over Europe have achieved a lot of rights and social achievements in all these years, the feminist struggle has not come to a standstill, as it has to face new challenges and debates every day. Today, the feminist struggle focuses mainly on the fight against everyday sexism, social representations, the culture of violence and sexual harassment. With this youth exchange, we want to give the participants - who come from different countries and have different social backgrounds - the possibility to confront themselves with other peers on the issue of gender inequality, trying to find small solutions or daily actions that in the long-run can have a great social impact. Developing a better understanding of gender and the challenges of society, the participants involved in this youth exchange will be actors of change once they return to their home country.
