Hello and thank you for taking the time to fill out our assessment form. HOPE Collaborative is a community based organization whose mission is to advance racial, economic, and health equity in Oakland through community-driven food and neighborhood initiatives. We envision a vibrant Oakland where historically marginalized communities shape their neighborhoods’ future, have equitable opportunities for healthy food and safe community spaces, and build community wealth.
HOPE Collaborative is working with Alameda County Public Health Department Nutrition Services to try to increase CalFresh use at Oakland farmers' markets. The responses from this survey will help us develop and expand community focused programs and projects to make sure that all Oakland residents have access to fresh, nutritious, and culturally appropriate food. If you have any questions, please let us know by emailing our Food Justice Co-Director, Elizabeth Esparza, at elizabeth@hopecollaborative.net.
