Built on BootUp PD’s proven professional learning model, participants learn side-by-side, design real classroom lessons, and leave ready to launch coding on day one. Why teachers love this BootUp PD workshop:

  • Classroom set of 28 Robotical Cog for immediate use
  • Breakfast & lunch provided each day
  • 28 hours of immersive, hands-on BootUp PD training
  • Join the BootUp PD Texas Professional Learning Community (PLC) for ongoing collaboration and support

During the BootUp PD sessions, teachers will: Experience model lessons in ScratchJr from a student perspective Collaboratively design lessons for the coming school year Connect coding to core instruction using TEKS, CSTA, and the K–12 CS Framework Engage in creative, applied learning that builds confidence and student agency Grounded in the belief that teachers learn best with and from one another, BootUp PD facilitation emphasizes modeling, coaching, and collaboration—so educators leave ready to empower students as creators across art, music, animation, games, and storytelling.
