Teachers and Tacos is a professional development event - for educators. If childcare is a barrier and you need to bring your own children with you in order to attend, please let us know how many. Children are required stay with you at all times and we will also ask you to complete a waiver for them on site. 

NOTE: If your significant other is also an educator, please be sure to each register separately so we have accurate demographic information on who we are serving. Non-educator plus ones are asked to leave space for educators who wish to attend.

WAIVER: In collaboration with the Santa Clara County Office of Education, RAFT, The Tech Interactive, The Krause Center for Innovation, Ignited, and The Synopsys Outreach Foundation has invited teachers to attend its Teachers for Tacos event to be held on 9/4//2026 at Santa Clara County Office of Education.

I am aware that during any event injury or death may occur from hazards, including but not limited to, hazards of accidents or illness in places without medical facilities, hazards created by the forces of nature, and hazards of travel by air, train, bus, automobile and walking. I am voluntarily participating in the above activity with the knowledge of the damages involved and I agree to accept any and all risks of injury or death.

In consideration of my participation in the activity described above, I agree that I, my heirs, spouse, guardians, legal representatives and assigns will not make a claim against, or sue the the Santa Clara County Office of Education, RAFT, The Tech Interactive, The Krause Center for Innovation, Ignited, and The Synopsys Outreach Foundation, and it’s or their officers, agents, volunteers or employees for injury, death or property damages arising from my participation in the activity described above.

In addition, I release and discharge the the Santa Clara County Office of Education, RAFT, The Tech Interactive, The Krause Center for Innovation, Silicon Valley Education Foundation, Ignited, and The Synopsys Outreach Foundation, and their officers, agents, volunteers and employees from all actions, claims, or demands that I, my heirs, guardians, legal representatives and assigns now have or may have for injury, death or property damages arising from my participation in the activity described above.

This Agreement and Release of Liability are intended to be binding upon heirs, (spouse,) guardians, legal representatives and assigns.
