Hotline Volunteer Training Registration
Want to get involved with the Community Alliance of Tenants? Now's your chance! Once you've filled out the form, we'll follow up with the event address.
Hi, nice to meet you! What's your name?
Are you looking for one-off opportunities or an ongoing volunteer committment?
What is your mailing address?
Why are you interested in volunteering for CAT?
If you come to Renters' Hotline Training, we ask that you commit to 6 months of assistance with a commitment of weekly 2-4 hour shift, or a year long commitment of two shifts a month. Volunteer shifts are available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Tuesday evening 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Our highest need for volunteers is during the week as our other evening and weekend shifts fill up fast. Due to the time investment it takes to be a Hotline Specialist, we urge folks to look into their schedules for this special opportunity. Does this sound reasonable to you?
Do you have any medical conditions such as diabetes, epilepsy, severe allergies, etc. that you feel we should be aware of? If so, please list.
If our current training is full, are you interested in learning about future Hotline trainings?
Do you need childcare for the training?
Do you have experience organizing around housing justice? If so, could you describe your experience?
Are there other kinds of opportunities that appeal to you as well?
