On all public property and all streets in the Borough, dogs shall be limited to a maximum of 2 dogs per person, which must at all times be on and under control of a leash, except as otherwise expressly provided herein. Dogs are not permitted in any Borough park other than Riding Meadow Park, Eliza Fox Trail - North Section between Hardie Valley Park and Beechwood Farms, and Lockhart Trail. The following park-specific restrictions shall apply to dogs, which must, whether on or off leash, be under the control of their owner or handler and must neither disturb nor harm any person or animal: [Amended 3-20-2023 by Ord. (1)  Riding Meadow Park and Eliza Fox Trail - North Section between Hardie Valley Park and Beechwood Farms. Dogs may be off leash between dawn and dusk.

(2)  Lockhart Trail. Dogs may be off leash between dawn and 11:00 a.m. and between 4:00pm and dusk, except that, on the northerly portion of such Trail, from its intersection with the northerly line of Trillium Lane to a point 740 feet to the east of such intersection, and on the westerly portion of such Trail, from its intersection with the southerly line of Trillium Lane to a point 780 feet to the south of such intersection (both measured along the said Trail), dogs must be leashed at all times. In addition, on said northerly portion of such Trail, from the first such point of intersection to a point 430 feet to the east of such intersection, dogs must be kept on the fifty-foot private road right-of-way, the center line of which is essentially the dividing line between property of the Trillium Homeowners' Association and property now or formerly of Gordon Davison et ux., which private road is shown on the plan of the Kyne Subdivision, Plan Book Volume 175, pages 47-50, in the Recorder's Office of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

Stickers are free for Fox Chapel Borough residents and do not expire; $25 for Fox Chapel Area School District residents and $50 for non-residents; these stickers run on the calendar year, Jan-Dec.

• Use parks at own risk.
• Parks are open from dawn to dusk.
• Borough Park Rules and Regulations apply.
• Owners must have control and be in view of their dog(s) at all times and prevent aggressive behavior, biting, fighting or excessive barking.
• Handlers must have leashes with them when dogs are off-leash.
• Handlers must pick up after their dogs and dispose of waste in approved containers.
• Handlers shall not litter.
• Professional/Commercial dog walkers are not eligible for parking permits.
• No more than 2 dogs may be walked simultaneously by any one handler.
• Owners are responsible for any injury or damage caused by their dog(s).
• Dogs must be properly licensed and vaccinated with tags on collar.
• No other animals permitted in the parks.
• Dogs may not be brought into the park if they are less than 4 months old, in heat, sick, designated dangerous by the courts or have a history of aggressive behavior.
• FCASD resident and non-resident stickers must be renewed annually and are not transferrable. These stickers are valid for 1 year only and may be revoked by the Borough at any time for violation of any of the above conditions or without cause.
• Permits must be attached to the left side of the vehicle's rear bumper and clearly visible from the rear.
• The undersigned confirms that they have read the above conditions and waiver and agrees to abide by their content.
