In this course, you will learn the basics of playing piano and musical notation. By the end of the sessions, you will be able to play basic songs and learn new songs from sheet music.

Piano is one of the most versatile music instruments that can be used to fit any genre of music and has no limits once you learn it. By learning piano, you can create and play any type of song that you like, from jazz blues to classical music. In this workshop, you will be learning the basics of playing piano, from musical notation to chords and scales. Learning these basics will help you build a strong foundation so that you can deepen your musical knowledge and later play more complex pieces. To start this course, a fancy piano is not needed. Just get your keyboard and bring your excitement and passion to learn piano and you will be ready to delve into the depths of music!

Who: Grade Requirements: Needs to be in 1st grade or higher
When: August 6 -  September 26 (Classes will happen on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays)
Time: 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM  PST (1hr sessions)
Total Sessions: 23
