What is Addir?
Addir is an interfaith dialogue group that works with the MIT Office of Religious, Spiritual and Ethical Life to bring people from all different spiritual and religious backgrounds together. Undergrads, grad students, and postdocs are welcome.
Fellows are grouped together into smaller cohorts and spend a year learning about each other, talking about deep and challenging topics, going on retreats, and learning how to have productive conversations with people from an array of backgrounds.
Many fellows view Addir as a pathway to meaningful friendships. Fellows often find that these interfaith conversations help them articulate what they value most, leading to a stronger commitment to their own faith and/or ethical principles.
