UCC Private Music Lesson Sign-up 2025/26 'Please Read details'
- Please complete this form if you wish to sign up a student for private music lessons

- Lessons are traditionally 1/2 hour each week at a cost of $44 per lesson

- Private teachers make their own schedule and will reach out to students/parent(s) to confirm the lesson times each week (1st come, 1st served for times)
*Yr 6/7 FLEX TIME SPECIAL NOTE: Any flex time lessons should be PRE-approved by the Form Advisor

- non-curricular instrument lessons - piano, violin, guitar or bass lessons are available to students in Yr 3 - 12

- band curricular instrument lessons are available for students in Yr 5 - 12. (flute, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, saxes, trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, tuba, percussion (inc. drum kit)

- School hours are between 7:30am - 6:00pm  (last lesson of the day should be completed by 5:50pm)

- Lessons can be taken before school, recess, or after school 
                   (flex-time lessons should be cleared with the Form Advisor before proceeding)

- Guitar rental may be available @ $35/month - please reach out to Mr. MacDonald regarding guitar rental

- Due to scheduling challenges, teachers working at multiple studios, and various school events there is a 24 hr. cancellation policy in place.  We ask that students be sure to attend all agreed upon scheduled lessons.

**- If a private music lesson is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance for a reason other than illness or emergency, you may be charged the lesson fee. This will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

**- There is a 4 lesson cancellation policy if you wish to cancel lessons all together we ask that you give 1 month (4 weeks notice = 4 lessons). This is to allow teachers time to adjust their schedule and/or fill the time slot now open in their schedule.
