2018 Rambler Band Registration
The Kenosha Unified School District Department of Fine Arts invites you, as a current 7th or 8th grader to take part in the Kenosha Rambler Band. This band will give students a chance to play both concert music and marching music throughout the summer. Doing so will keep musical skills sharp and also give students a meaningful activity to be part of over the course of the summer. We will march several parades, as well as participate in traditional concert experiences. The season begins on Tuesday, May 8th with an informational meeting for parents to be held at Tremper High School from 6:00-6:45 pm in the auditorium. Every Rambler Band member and a parent/guardian should make every effort to attend.

Topics to be discussed include the finalized schedule, uniform information, regulations and expectations, band camp information, music, final costs and fundraising information. The cost for participation in the Rambler Band will be $185; this includes transportation, band camp costs, marching shoes, Rambler t-shirt, and Noah’s Ark. Fundraising will be offered for families who want to earn money toward their summer band costs.

Attendance at Camp on June 14th through 16th will be required for all students participating in the Rambler Band. This will take place at St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy in Delafield.

Color Guard members will be chosen from all interested seventh and eighth grade students that are not currently enrolled in their school band programs. If you have any non-band friends whom you would like to spend the summer with, have them talk to your band director to get a packet for Color Guard.
