The IHS is held every other year and is committed to bringing together teachers from around the world, representing many traditions and aspects of herbalism: folkloric, scientific, community outreach & therapeutic applications, farming and gardening, ceremonial and plant spirit teachings, plant conservation and many others.
We are currently accepting proposals for the 15th International Herb Symposium to be held in June of 2021. Please note that our teacher selection process is done by a committee of people and will occur during the winter of 2020. The Teacher Selection Committee was formed with the primary goal of increasing diversity, inclusion, and shared leadership in all areas of the symposium including class and teacher selection. Your submission will be shared with the Teacher Selection Committee, reviewed and responded to by the spring of 2020, when all of the teacher invitations are sent out.
We are incredibly grateful to have so many new and exciting presenters express interest in teaching at the IHS each year and again we thank you for your proposal and will respond as soon as the Committee completes the selection process. Until then, we send you green blessings and best wishes. If you have questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Sincerely,Melanie and Jeff Carpenter, IHS-Co directors
