Queer Humboldt's Queer Youth Employment Grant Application

This grant partners local businesses with queer young people for gaining work experience.

You are welcome to apply if you are currently employing a queer young person (under 24 years old), are in the process of hiring a queer young person, or are interested in receiving applications from queer young people who are seeking a queer affirming work opportunities.

Grant Details:
1) Grant covers up to $15/hr of employee's salary (plus payroll taxes, etc.)
2) Queer Humboldt will provide optional background support to the employer and/or youth, including job coaching, allyship training and/or consultation.
3) Queer Humboldt will promote your business online as a member of this program (optional).
