This series of COMPASS science communication workshops will help scientists turn their research on ocean carbon dioxide removal into compelling messages and prepare for media and policy communication and engagement. Grounded in the latest research on science communication, COMPASS workshops are designed to help participants find the relevance of their science for the audiences they most want to reach—journalists, policymakers, the public, and even other scientists. These workshops are funded by the ClimateWorks Foundation and are open to scientists working on ocean-based carbon removal and who are seeking to make their communication efforts more strategic.
