Thank you for your willingness to help our students and teachers at Town Center Elementary! Please fill out this form with your availability and preferences about volunteering at the school. As a reminder, a Background Check form is required to help at the school (

The Following Are Year Round Opportunities
If you select an option below the Coordinator over that area will contact you and let you know what dates/times are needed and you can sign up for those that work best with your schedule.

Room Parent (coordinating signups, planning two class parties, occasional class emails, etc)
Assistant Room Parent (helping Room Parent fulfill their duties as needed)
Library (shelving books, helping students check-out; flexible scheduling)
Cafeteria (help students open containers, get food; 45 minute shifts)
Art (as needed per request of teacher)
Music (as needed per request of teacher)
Green Team (assist Miss Rice as needed with helping students maintain the school garden)
Marketing Team (help with event sponsorship and public announcements)
Fundraising Team (help brainstorm and carry out school fundraising events)
PTO Board (overseeing various aspects and needs of the PTO)

The Following are Single Event Opportunities
Throughout the year we have several events which require additional help. Please let us know if you willing to help with any of these events. Please remember that many hands make light work. We do need you!

September 10-14: Fall Book Fair (Help setup books, run cash register, slots available all week long)
September 14: Special Friend's Day (Help plan the day, host and greet special friends at the signin desk)
September 14: Fall Family Picnic (Help plan and coordinate the picnic and activities for the evening event, food vendors etc)
October: Teacher Class Parties and Lunches (Assist planning and running activities won at the auction. Mainly after school and during lunches for 1 weeks
March: Spring Book Fair (Help setup books, run cash register, slots available all week long)
April: Spring Fundraiser (Help plan the activities and gather donations for this main fundraising event, looking for new fundraising ideas)
May: Field Day (Help plan field day activities and run the day-long event, coordinate signups for parents)
