For elementary school students, SHE offers gender-inclusive, fun, body-positive Puberty Education as either a four day (four hour) program or a five day (five hour) program. The five day program adds a lesson focused on anti-bullying and anti-oppression.

For Middle or High School students, Superstar offers a comprehensive Inclusive Health Education program. It is five hours long and meets California's state sex education requirements. It covers anatomy, consent, gender and orientation, abstinence, safe sex, STIs, birth control, and healthy relationships.

We also offer workshops for Special Education students, professional development workshops for staff and other adult learners, and custom workshops of all types.

We have staff fluent in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, and French, and can work with you to meet the language needs of your students.

Please give us some information about the number of groups of students who need the workshops at each grade level.
The number of class groups that we teach, along with a number of other factors, determines the size of the contract. If your school has non-traditional grade structures, you can add more info in the next question.

Number of Students and Other Details *
Please write out some details about the needs expressed above. Please include info like the average number of students in the classes, if your school has any combined grades or language needs, if there is any uncertainty about how many groups we might be teaching, or anything else that didn't fit in the grid above.

If you have a high enough number of monolingual students that the classes must be taught in Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin, please note that here! Superstar can offer classes taught in those languages but it changes our staff scheduling, so we need to know ahead of time.

Anything you would like to tell us about your date choices?
For instance: your level of flexibility, your reasoning in picking certain weeks, previous communication with Superstar about the best date, etc.
Who should do the Handbook/Handout Printing? *
SHE's workshops use booklets (for puberty) or sets of handouts (for comprehensive sex ed) for the students. If you would like to print these materials and have them ready for us, we can send you the files electronically. If you would prefer we print and bring them, there will be a $5 printing charge per student, which we can add to our invoice. Please indicate which is best below.
If Superstar will be printing, what is the approximate number of students in each grade who will need handbooks or materials? *
If you are printing, please write "None" or "N/A".

If some of the materials should be in Spanish, please let us know here; we have a translated version of our Puberty Handbook available and can bring some copies of that version as well as the English versions.
Parent Education Workshop *
Every month, Superstar hosts a sixty to ninety minute Zoom workshop for the parent communities of schools with upcoming student classes. If you have not worked with Superstar before, inviting your families to the workshop is is a required piece of the Superstar collaboration, as it will introduce parents to the curriculum we will present in the classroom. It will also impart the skills they will need to talk to their child about health, bodies, puberty, and sexuality. The workshops help build buy-in from your families and ensure that students are supported at home in their learning on these topics.

If you would prefer an in-person workshop, which is in fact the best way to build momentum around health education at your school, we can schedule an exclusive workshop held just for your parent community. These happen at your school site, normally in the evening a few weeks before the student classes.

If you'd like an in-person Parent Education Workshop, is there a particular time and day of the week that is best to hold it?
For instance, some schools know that later in the evenings is best for their parents; other schools prefer mornings, or a day of the week that they tend to hold parent events.

Once the date of the student classes is confirmed, we will suggest an exact date.
