This summer’s camp will be hosted on July 14th-19th on the campus of Avila University in KCMO. Participants will sleep in a residence hall and will eat in the university's dining hall. Each day of the leadership camp is a full schedule of getting to know each other and increasing understanding of ourselves and others through discussion groups, workshops, and experiential activities. We also have scheduled time each day for fun, games, and relaxation.
Applying for Anytown gives you a great opportunity to build your skills as a leader! The application will take about 10 minutes to complete. Please note that once you begin this application there is no option to save your responses and return later, so you must complete it in one sitting. It's highly encouraged that you submit the application by 5pm on Wednesday, May 29th. All applications will be reviewed to select a diverse group of participants to learn and grow together. If you're accepted, you will be notified by Friday, May 31st and we'll send you an acceptance packet with additional forms and instructions to confirm your attendance at the 2019 AnytownKC Youth Leadership Institute™. While there is a fee of $350 to participate, payment is not required to submit this application and you may request a scholarship.
