SAT Prep Interest Form: Juniors

The Academy of American Studies will be offering an SAT Prep class beginning Friday, January 10th. The classes will be 2 hours long (from 3:15 pm - 5:15 pm) on the below Friday dates.

1--Friday, January 10

2--Friday, January 31

3--Friday, February 7

4--Friday, February 14

5--Friday, February 28

6--Friday, March 7

7--Friday, March 14

8--Friday, March 28

9– Friday, April 4

The in school SAT will be given the week of April 7th.

You must commit to attending all 9 sessions.  If you cannot attend for any reason, you must e-mail Ms. Castrillon at KCastrillon@schools.nyc.gov as soon as possible, preferably before class.  You will be required to bring a note from your parent/guardian about your absence from the class to Ms. Castrillon on the next school day (or prior if you know of your absence in advance).  Those of you on teams or in clubs will need to re-arrange your schedule to accommodate the SAT class.

We have a limited number of seats for this preparation class that will be assigned on a first come first served basis (with Juniors taking preference). 

Requirements:

  1. Must have submitted a physical blue card to the main office. (Blank forms can be found in Room 101)

  2. 90% school attendance as of 12/1/2023

  3. Submitted a meal form. (Blank forms can be found in Room 101 or online at MySchoolapps.com)

  4. Guardians have created a NYC DOE NYCSA account and a Jupiter Ed account. (See Ms. Martinez-Vega in Room 104 or Ms. Alaimo in Room 101.)
