Curating Color is an invitation-only panel discussion with leadership from nationally and locally recognized arts organizations, who will discuss how to effectively curate programming centered on artists of color. Panelists include Gary Padmore, Director of Education and Community at the Orchestra of St. Luke's, Leah Dickerman, Marlene Hess curator of the Museum of Modern Art, Roberta Uno of ArtsChangeUS, and Milteri Tucker of Bombazo Dance Company. The panel will be moderated by Eun Lee, Executive Producer of The Dream Unfinished. Panelists will discuss the challenges, responsibilities, and successes of presenting works by artists of color through institutions which vary by both discipline and/or scale. Curating Color is invitation only, to encourage both panelists and audience members to speak about their experiences and philosophies with candor.
