Meals
This involves helping as part of meal trains for congregants going through any ups and downs of life. Involves either making a meal, or buying a meal (with any dietary/allergens in mind) for the congregant in need and taking it to them. May occasionally involve sitting and sharing a meal with congregants. Time commitment for this varies depending on what our congregants are going through, but generally is 1-2 meals per meal train.

Calling / Visits
This involves helping the Caring Ministry check in on congregants that could use support / community / socialization during this time of everything being virtual. The calls / check-ins are generally monthly / twice a month and you will have a set list of 1-3 members you will call / visit.  The time commitment varies depending on the length of the call or visit, but you can estimate 30-60 mins per check-in per month.

You will be reimbursed for any materials you use. Time commitment for this varies depending on how many congregants are receiving cards, how many writers have signed up, and how long it generally takes you to write a card (templates will be provided but you are welcome to write whatever you would like).
