The goal of the Center for Sustainability Across the Curriculum program is to increase access to sustainability across the curriculum support. Specifically, we are seeking to enable faculty at institutions that don’t have the resources to administer their own programs to still benefit from this power model for curriculum change. Accordingly, the primary responsibility associated with being a Center is to organize at least one workshop or other professional development offering annually that is open to faculty from other institutions (as well as your own).
As a Center, you’d gain access to help from AASHE in promoting the program and you’d get to be part of a network of other institutions doing similar work.
To understand the expectations of Centers, please be sure to review the MOU that all Centers sign after being accepted (http://bit.ly/2uwPDc7). Please email Daita Serghi (daita.serghi@aashe.org) if you have any questions about the process.
