Applicant Requirements:Be a current MSCA memberBe a practicing school counselor or counselor educator currently in Maryland for no more than two years experience in this position.Not be (or have been) an appointed or elected member of the MSCA boardHave a desire to give to the profession through service and leadership
A review panel will select attendees with a demonstrated commitment to the school counseling profession leadership experience and/or potential. Emerging leaders that represent racial, gender, and ethnic diversity are particularly encouraged to apply.
Applications are open April 5, 2019 to June 7, 2019. Selected Emerging Leaders will be announced in July 2019 to begin serving July 2019 to June 2020.
