The program will be presented to the students on: Tuesday, January 11, 2022 and students will be grouped by gender.
JSY strives to create life-changing connections with students of all ages, backgrounds, and circumstances to help them move toward a path of optimal health and therefore brighter futures. JSY programs are working in the lives of students, providing them a bigger “YES” in their life than the no’s they are facing.

The program students at your school will be participating in this year is Determined to Succeed which focuses on “recognizing social/peer, technology, and media related pressures”. This program briefly outlines the problems of teen pregnancies and STDs, and then addresses the issues of how to resist pressure to become sexually active. This includes controlling desires, recognizing healthy relationships, sexual abuse, emotional hurts, and resisting peer pressure (refusal skills), the media, and pornography.
The parent presentation will include the student presentation, and additional information for parents on how they can help reinforce the information at home.
