CYSO Orchestras (CYSO, PSE, ES, DCS) Application 2025-2026

Rehearsals for the CYSO Orchestras normally take place at the Huff Recital Hall, located at the Claremont Community School of Music (CCSM): 951 W Foothill Blvd., Claremont, CA 91711.

For Audition Season (August): Students will be placed into one of the youth orchestras based on their audition results. All placement decisions are made at the discretion of the Music Director and are final.

Attendance Policy – PLEASE READ PRIOR TO APPLYING

CYSO Orchestras allow a maximum of four total absences per season. In addition, attendance at all four concert dates is mandatory.

Students are advised not to audition unless they can attend ALL concerts and rehearsals.

Concert Dates for the 2025-2026 Season
1. Sunday, December 7, 2025: Celtic Christmas Concert at Claremont UCC
2. Saturday, January 24, 2026: Winter Concert at Little Bridges
3. Saturday, March 21, 2026: Concert at Claremont UCC
4. Saturday, May 30, 2026: Spring Concert at Little Bridges

If you are unable to commit to the scheduled rehearsals and concert dates, we kindly ask that you do not submit an application.
