First Stage 2017
Register your interest and availability to act, direct, produce, mentor a new producer or tech one of the First Stage 2017 evenings!

Performance evenings are on Sundays 19th November, 26th November and 3rd December at The Boathouse (Chesterton Rd, Cambridge).

The casting session will run from 3 - 5pm on Sunday 1st October at Milton Road Library. This year we will be trialling a 'rep theatre' style cast for First Stage so a small group of actors will be selected to play roles in multiple plays.

This year we are also hoping to get directors to take on more than one play in the same performance evening to help with coordination of rehearsals for all involved, and we are looking for new inexperienced producers to try out producing for the first time under the guidance of an experienced mentor. This is a great opportunity if you've always considered getting involved but were nervous about not knowing what to do!

To participate in any of the evenings you MUST be available from 11am onwards on the day of the performance (everyone) and also available to rehearse on the Tuesday and Thursday evenings before the performance (applies to actors and directors). Rehearsals will be in the evenings starting at 7pm and are likely to be at Milton Road Library or directors' houses.

We also encourage producers to attend the two rehearsals in their production week, but this is not a requirement.
