Team PHE Boston Runner Application
Peer Health Exchange (PHE) Boston is proud to announce that we have been offered 2 non-qualifying charity marathon bibs from the John Hancock Boston Marathon Non-Profit Program. If you would like to apply for a bib in support of Peer Health Exchange, please carefully read and fill out this form.
Please note that we will assign bibs to runners based on your responses to the application process, not on running time qualification.
The Boston Marathon will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020. Participation in the Boston Marathon by fundraising for PHE Boston is an incredible opportunity to complete a world-renowned, challenging athletic event and meaningfully engage with Boston’s nonprofit community. If you join Team PHE Boston, you will directly support mental health, sexual health, and substance misuse prevention education in Boston, Malden, Lynn, and Chelsea schools. We are seeking runners who are passionate about PHE’s mission, dedicated to training for the event, and excited to execute a thorough fundraising strategy!
We’re also here to support our runners. While we are a small team, PHE Boston runners will receive access to the John Furey Marathon Training Program (or comparable training program), access to joint coordinated runs with other nonprofits and the chance to meet other participants, a runner goodie bag, a PHE singlet to wear on race day, and personalized fundraising support to meet your goals.
We are reviewing applications on a rolling basis and will notify applicants of their status upon review. If you are successful in your application, our fundraising team will contact you to schedule a brief interview. We intend to finalize our team in November.
