This scholarship is awarded to two
students who are studying wildlife forensic science or a related science
field. The Scholarship includes one student registration and $500 to help with travel and room costs
for attending the SWFS meeting.
Consideration will be given to past academic performance, the
application, essay, and presentation abstract. A Selection Committee will
review the application and select the two applications that are most qualified.
Chosen applicants are required to give a 10-15 minute presentation on their
presentation abstract topic at the Society for Wildlife Forensic Science
Meeting, so you must submit an abstract.
Please ensure that you have registered for the meeting and submitted an abstract for your presentation. Those awarded the scholarship will be reimbursed for registration and award the $500 at the meeting.
Applicants will not be considered if they have not submitted an abstract.
Application Deadline: 25 November 2026
