Welcome to the 2024-2025 Leadership in Training Registration Form

The LIT team is pleased to present new material for the 2024-25 school year for school bus driver trainers and transportation administrators.

Train-the-Trainer
Topics include Accident Loss Trends and Mitigation Strategies, and Behind-the-Wheel (revisiting behind-the-wheel training techniques including mirror grid, tail swing, and wheelbase/turning reference points).

Participants will be given hands-on opportunities to be the trainer and trainee and work through communication and teaching strategies.

Director/Supervisor
Topics include Post-accident and Incident Training Best Practices, Addressing Difficult Employee Issues, Special Populations of Transportation, Understanding Transportation Budgeting, and Unemployment Insurance Claims.

These are free single-day classes, with a light breakfast provided for the Train-the-Trainer track and lunch provided for both Train-the-Trainer and Director/Supervisor tracks.
