YALSA Youth Participation Application
YALSA is recruiting teens to give feedback on the Best Fiction for Young Adults (BFYA) book list. YALSA’s BFYA Committee recommends fiction titles published for young adults in the past 16 months that are recommended reading for ages 12 to 18. But they need your help! Join us on January 9, 2021 from 2:00-3:30pm CT (12:00-1:30 PT and 3:00-4:00pm ET) to give us your feedback about currently nominated titles:
YALSA takes input from youth very seriously, and in order to get a wide representative of area youth, we are seeking up to 50 teens to participate.
Participation consists of teens (ages 12-18) speaking on Zoom in front of the committee. The Teen Feedback Session runs from 2:00-3:30pm CT (12:00-1:30 PT and 3:00-4:00pm ET) on Saturday, January 9, 2021.
This session will be recorded but will not be made public. It will only be sent to BFYA Committee members.
DEADLINE TO APPLY IS January 5, 2021.
