Liability Waiver (Applicable to all current and new volunteers)
I, the undersigned, understand that volunteering with the Nepal Education and Cultural Center (NECC) may involve certain risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, or other unforeseen incidents that may occur during volunteer activities. In consideration of being permitted to volunteer with NECC, I hereby release and discharge NECC, its officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action that may arise out of or in connection with my participation in volunteer activities.
I acknowledge that NECC is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property that may occur as a result of my participation in volunteer activities. I understand that I am voluntarily participating in these activities, and I assume all risks associated with my participation, including, but not limited to, the risks of transportation to and from volunteer sites, physical injury, and contact with other participants.
I understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the negligence, action, or inaction of NECC, its officers, employees, and agents, whether any injury or harm.
I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless NECC, its officers, employees, and agents from any loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense, including legal fees, that they may incur due to my participation in volunteer activities.
I understand that this release is a binding legal document and that by signing below, I am waiving certain legal rights. I have read and fully understand the terms of this release, and by submitting this form, I voluntarily agree to be bound by its provisions.
