The Idaho Legislature recently passed HB138 and a technical error in the bill eliminated our presidential primary election that occurs in March every four (4) years. The 2024 presidential primary election now hangs in the balance and action needs to be taken. To better inform policy-makers in this pending decision, we are asking for your feedback on this important issue.

Which of the following actions would you prefer be taken regarding the 2024 Idaho Presidential Primary election:

Repeal HB138 and restore the Presidential Primary to March 2024 and maintain a separate election

Hold a separate party caucus or convention to determine the parties’ respective choices for the presidential primary, using their own rules and funding

Hold the presidential primary at the same time as the other scheduled state primaries in May 2024
