This is a class for black, femme, youth, artists to embark on creating art and turning it into profitable careers. We'll explore various art forms, from jewelry making to painting, with a focus on building self-confidence and a supportive sisterhood. Students will receive a stipend for materials. By the end of this program, students will have the ability to create art, market their work, and gain the confidence to pursue their artrepreneurial dreams and sell their work at the Lawndale Arts Festival, Saturday, August 10, 2024 12-4 PM.

Date: June 17 – August 10, 2024 – One Saturday in August for Lawndale Arts Fair ( Fair is required, No work day July 3rd)
Time: 1:00 AM - 4:00 PM Class, with lunch
DEADLINE TO APPLY: May 13th, 2024
SELECTION PROCESS: June 3rd-7th, 2024
STUDENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED IF SELECTED BY June 10th, 2024.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be in high school (Ages 13-19)
- Must be able to attend 90% of the internship.
