We believe every young person deserves an amazing summer camp experience—regardless of their ability to pay.

Your Move MKE is hosting free summer programming from 10 AM–3 PM, Monday through Friday, at the Your Move MKE Community Center (1674 S 11th St, Milwaukee, WI 53204).

Youth will engage in dynamic, hands-on workshops including Hip Hop Chess, Sound Labs (beat making sessions), Urban Engineering (urban development), mindfulness and meditation, Movement practices, and Restorative Justice art sessions.

We are currently enrolling youth ages 11 and up to participate in our summer healing spaces. Participants will have access to our Urban Computer Lab equipped for gaming and music production, an Urban Trades Skills Lab featuring graffiti workshops and community art development, and a dance studio offering weekly breakdancing sessions where youth can express themselves and decompress. The space also includes a full recording studio, a mobile recording studio, and an interactive outdoor alleyway for recreation. Weekly offsite trips will be part of the experience as well.

Our program centers mentorship, relationship-building, and creating a safe, supportive environment for youth. Every Friday is dedicated to fun activities, and refreshments along with a light lunch will be provided daily.

This program is completely free. An in-person orientation is required for participation.
