Siblings Allowed? Yes, siblings (and a second chaperone) may come but will have to pay for their pumpkins (only DCS students will receive a free pumpkin because we are paying for their admission fee).
A fun opportunity for DCS families to pick out pumpkins at the Beal Farm Pumpkin Patch - Includes one pumpkin per child (excludes Giant pumpkins), full use of the pumpkin patch, yard games, hay bale pyramid, the I-Spy Nature Trail with list of items to find on the trail, a picnic area to sit and enjoy your own lunch or snack in the Patch, and the FFA animals are back again this year!
Open to all families, this is a great opportunity to extend learning about agriculture, farms, systems, growth, how plants grow, food webs, farm animals, design, festivals, traditions, and hay, hay hay! Mr. Beal will also be offering some short educational talks on farming, agriculture, and farm economics if there is enough interest.
Those families whose students have classes at DCS at 2:30 can leave at 2:00 and get back for their 2:30 class - other families are welcome to stay later.
