All answers are found in the following policy:

ALPINE SCHOOL DISTRICT PROVIDES PARKING FOR STUDENTS UNDER CERTAIN PROVISIONS:

* Student parking shall in no way interfere with the operation of the school.

* Out of Stall Parking is not permitted and may result in multiple citations
* All motorized vehicles (including motorcycles, razors, ATV's) require a permit to park on campus.
* LPHS reserves the right to deny parking privileges to individuals as deemed necessary.

* Sticker MUST be adhered to the vehicle in the correct placement - purchase alone is not sufficient

* A permit does not guarantee a place to park. Spaces are limited so plan accordingly.

* Late arrival to school WILL result in a parking spot further from the school - again, plan accordingly

* LPHS reserves the right to amend regulations as necessary.
* By the end of the school year parking will be extremely limited. 1st come 1st serve.

STUDENT PARKING LOT RULES ENFORCED FROM 6 AM-3 PM:

* Students must park in designated areas only. Student parking is in the south lot, the northwest lot behind Seminary building, and all set side parking lots. (see map below for details)
* Students are NOT allowed to park in visitor or faculty parking at any time--including during a release period.
* Students are not to be in the parking lot during class time.
* LPHS/Alpine School District is not responsible for theft or damage to the car while in the parking lot.
* NO distribution of hand-bills on campus, including all parking lots. (notes, fliers on cars etc.)

LPHS PERMITS ARE AVAILABLE TO ALL LPHS STUDENTS FOR PURCHASE:

* Permit price is $20 for the first permit and $5 for each additional car. Permits are non-transferable. Replacement permits for new windshields, damaged or stolen permits, etc. will be $5. The permit is for one car only and does not cover multiple cars in a family. Each car must have its own permit.
* Taping, laminating, or adhering sticker in any other way than permanently will result in a ticket.
* When driving a non-permit car, students must either park in the free parking areas (see map below for details) or buy a new permit for that vehicle. ALL non-permit cars in student parking will be ticketed.

CITATIONS ISSUED AS FOLLOWS:

* $10- No visible permit, improper installation of permit, or vehicle parked outside of designated stall.
* $10- Permit being used on a car not registered to the permit.
* $25- Parking in prohibited areas, (visitor, north and front faculty, handicapped, fire and bus zones).
* $25- Boot fee. Three violations will result in a car being booted. Boot will be removed once fees are paid.

* $25-Repeat violation fee. If you have 2 or more unpaid tickets this can be added onto any violation at the parking attendant's discretion.
* All parking fines are to be paid in the finance office or on myschoolfees.com once it is uploaded.
* Lone Peak Police Department will assist in enforcing rules in parking lots when necessary.
* Students who continue to ignore the parking expectations may be towed at the owner's expense.
* Parking ticket appeals must be made within 2 weeks of the date the ticket was issued. Appeal decision is final.

APPEAL PROCESS:

*If you find a violation given that for a valid reason should be appealed, please visit the Finance Office for an appeal form WITHIN 2 WEEKS of receiving violation.

MISCELLANEOUS:

* Bicycles do not require a permit but must be parked in the designated area (south lot).
